‘The Offspring’

Student publication online and in print

Two of our IMPRS members, Mayank Chugh and Matthew Cheng, form part of the editorial team for this initiative from the Max Planck Society's student network, PhDnet. Mayank writes:

‘Offspring’ is the official magazine of the Max Planck PhDnet, published annually since 2005. The magazine is designed to communicate the network's activities and to provide relevant information to PhD students at all Max Plank institutes. Furthermore, it should constitute a platform for PhD students that reflects their interests and can therefore be distinguished from other Max Planck print products.

Since this year, ‘The Offspring’ is online as a digital blog at the PhDnet website. Apart from the digital annual version, the first printed issue of the Offspring was released at the PhDnet meeting held from November 10-11, 2016 in Berlin. Take a look here at the online version of ‘The Offspring’ magazine.
