Tübingen University among world’s top 100

No. 78 in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2015

The University of Tübingen has joined the ranks of the top 100 universities in the world, according to the Times Higher Education World University Ranking. Tübingen was placed at 78 in this year’s Ranking, moving up from 113th place in 2014. The THE Ranking uses 13 separate performance indicators to examine a university’s strengths against all of its core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

Tübingen’s improved ranking highlights what a great place it is to study and do research. The University received higher than ever before ratings for the performance categories Teaching, Research and Citations.

International Outlook is another area in which the University has developed strongly. Its commitment to attracting the best international scholars through programs such the IMPRS “From Molecules to Organisms” is backed up with supporting structures such as the Welcome Center and Graduate Academy.
